I wanna use a tracking template but im not sure who Google sees them / how they treat them

I was going to wait for a campaign to get approved then add it after but i saw some members said they got circumventing after adding one

For the people who've had experience using them recently how often do u face issues with suspensions etc

google ads sees the tracking template because it’s literally part of the ad’s click URL flow
customers may not see it in the address bar depending on parallel tracking, but google still does
suspensions risk it’s usually not the template itself it’s when the resulting click/landing path looks like an attempt to hide what the real destination is

I also used tracking templates before and didn’t really face any big issues and just make sure the tracking link is clean and clear nothing looks suspicious because better to test it first before using it on a bigger on scale.

Yes the tracking templates are generally safe when set up correctly also just make sure your URLs and redirects follow google’s rules and you should be fine.

I think the tracking templates are fine as if they follow Google policies and issues usually come from the setup or destination.

Tracking templates themselves are normal but if they redirect hide the real destination or change what Google sees that is where suspension risk starts keep the tracking transparent and make sure the final URL stays consistent

Yes, tracking templates are pretty normal and I would just keep them simple and avoid anything that changes the destination or looks like a redirect chain.

From what I’ve seen, problems usually come from the overall tracking flow rather than just adding a template and make sure everything is consistent before making changes.

Yes, the main thing is to make sure the tracking URL doesn’t send google or users to different destinations, also keep the setup simple and transparent.

Id add it only after testing the tracking url properly. Make sure all redirects work fine and Google can access the final landing page, thats where id start.

to be frank, I would try it in one campaign nd then apply it in other place . I have never faced any issues when it came to tracking template without any messy redirect path as well as when the landing page was the same for google and the users. try to keep the subid simple and check for any disapprovals.
