Hey BHW,

I’m writing this from a friend’s spare room in a third-world country. I’m 40 years old, I have almost zero money left in my pocket, and I’m surviving on pure grit. I wanted to share my last 2 months of hell so you don’t fall into the same traps I did.

Cam affiliate marketing isn't the "easy money" paradise the gurus sell you. It’s a battlefield.

The Domain Gamble: Old vs. Dirty

I started with two domains. One was a 20-year-old "clean" domain with zero reputation (pure ghost). The other was an expired domain previously abused by Russians for gambling—a "dirty" domain that Google refuses to index no matter what I do.

Lesson 1: History matters, but "clean" history is king. Don't waste time on domains burned by spammers unless you really know how to scrub them.

The $59 Lesson (Getting Scammed)

I wanted to get into the adult/corn niche. I bought software from a site called Tubesbooster for $59. Long story short: I got scammed. The software was junk, the support was non-existent, and my money was gone.

Lesson 2: In this industry, everyone is trying to sell you a "magic button." If it sounds too easy, you are the product.

The Pivot: AI and API Integration

Instead of giving up, I used my coding knowledge and AI to build something real. I developed a system that reflects live cams via API. The sites look amazing—clean, functional, and professional. I was proud.

The Wall: SEO & Exhaustion

Even with a great site, SEO is a different beast. I’m 40, I’m learning things I’ve never dealt with before, and I hit a wall. SEO in the adult niche is a dark art, and without a budget, it’s a slow, painful crawl.

Where I Am Now:

I’m exhausted. I’m broke. I’m staying at a friend’s house because I have nowhere else to go. I’ve been living like a shadow for the last few weeks, just staring at my SSH terminal and my code.

BUT I HAVE NOT QUIT.

I’m still pushing. I’m still fixing the bugs (shoutout to the "Valid Username" WP error that almost broke my brain today). I’m still trying to find a way to make this work.

My Advice to You:

  1. Trust Nobody: Especially those selling "automation tools" for $50.+
  2. Coding is Your Weapon: AI + Code is the only way to compete when you have no budget.
  3. Mental Health: This life will isolate you. Don't let the screen swallow your soul.
I’m writing this as a guide and a warning. It’s not as easy as they say. You can be scammed easily. You can lose your money an time . But as long as you have a keyboard and an internet connection, you still have a chance. and im keeping a live my projects

Brother, I read your story, and you seem like a pretty good programmer.

But one thing I'm worried about is that programmers and technical people often lack a concept of marketing and cash flow.

Making money isn't just about having a good product or a good idea and sticking with it.

You have to find the right market for you to make money, otherwise you'll burn yourself out.

For example, if you have technical skills, you can take on development jobs; that can also earn you money.

Never try to make money in a market you don't know if it will work when you don't have the funds. You'll be exhausted and unlikely to see any returns because your mindset might not be able to handle the long-term positive accumulation process.

First, make sure you can live a normal life with a steady stream of cash income—not a lot, just enough to maintain your lifestyle—and then think about how to make big money.

This is advice from someone who's been there.

Your advice is invaluable to me. "For example, if you have technical skills, you can take on development jobs; that can also earn you money." But how? I can use APIs and create web programs, but how and where can I sell them? Also, how can I drive traffic to the two webcam sites I've created?

You can register your information on Upwork, a job website.

Alternatively, you can showcase your work, such as your webcam.

If you want to drive traffic to your webcam, and if your product is versatile, you can shoot TikTok or YouTube videos to see the feedback.

At your current stage, absolutely do not spend money on traffic generation.

we all in this to make good money bro

Chin up, man. I’ve been there—brutal ride. Pick one offer, test with a tiny budget, and scale only if the ROI proves it. The shiny tools rarely pay, ROI is king.

thank you very much

Gotta invest money to make money. Go find a 9-5 and keep hustling. You'll never make it with the current situation you are in, trust me.

I wasted good 10 years of trying to online hustle with close to 0 budget until I quit. Then I found a decent 9-5 and then finally started re-investing my hard earned money into IM hustles and tbh the profits are more than good.

The adult/cam space is brutal even for experienced SEOs with budgets. You walked into it with zero margin for error, tested domains (good), got burned by a tool (expected), built your own system (very strong move), and then hit the real wall—distribution. That’s where most technically skilled people stall.
what can i do then ?

you still have a high spirit and that's what matters the most. you will surely excel in your work. keep up the determination is not easy.

Don't waste you time for domains. Use parasite seo instead. I'm a cam affiliate for many years. I use reddit and twitter + my custom Browser Automation Studio bots to mass download content, post and schedule it. I get 3k visits/day from reddit and hundreds from twitter. Learning BAS to make bots was the best decision in my life. You can make first bots after 2-3 days of learning. And most important lesson - diversify sources of income - don't promote one cam site, promote 2-4 sites. If one bans you , you won't lose you whole income.

Solid advice, especially on BAS! I’ve been focusing on the manual side of building authority (97+ karma on Reddit currently) but I can see how BAS changes the game for mass scheduling. I’m also looking into diversifying through a 'clean' VPN brand for high-quality traffic. Quick question—for Reddit automation, do you prefer 4G proxies or high-quality residential ones to avoid shadowbans? And could you share with us more about your cam affiliate journey? I'd love to hear how you scaled up.

Just because u suck at IM doesn't mean everyone needs a 9-5 , no offense
