SEO Specialists which Backlinks Work for You in 2026?

Guest posts and contextual links have worked best for me. I usually care more about where the link sits than the sites headline metrics.
same thing, I would prefer a contextual position to higher DR/DA at all times. Site relevance and traffic always say more than any headlined metric.

Hello everybody,

I would like to learn more about the experiences of people who have some experience in SEO work what type of backlinks do you use to achieve higher ranking positions?

Today there are so many types of backlinks to use such as guest blogging or niche edits and so forth and i find it a bit hard to figure out what is really worthwhile.

Can you share your successful experience and some advice?

Thank you in advance.
For me, the best results come from relevant editorial links, quality guest posts, and niche edits on real websites with actual traffic. I’d focus on relevance and link quality instead of building a large number of random backlinks.

From what I’ve seen relevance matters more than simply chasing high metrics a few solid niche relevant guest posts or editorial links can be more useful than a large number of random backlinks with high DR

As I am new to the world of SEO i do not have much experience in this field however i have been exploring topics such as guest posts and niche edits it seems that the relevance and the quality of the website matter more than backlinks as i can see from my research.

i use mix of pbns, niche edits and guest posts. diversification is important

For me, relevant guest posts and niche edits still work well. Quality seems to matter more than having lots of backlinks.

My favorite go-to is subreddit <<tier 1 GSA blast, however now Reddit seems to delete subreddits ever before, so now my favorites Google Site (cloud) <<GSA tier 1.

That being said, as platforms I like Paras for tier 1 and platforms like articles, forums (for indirect and very helpful with SERPs + AI overviews for some niches as they pull directly), bookmarks, etc.
