learning frontend development is worth it in 2026 AI can do much for some aspects of coding but at the same time you will have to learn the basics and be able to develop an effective solution.

Build a a portfolio, go on LinkedIn and X. Share your UI concepts. If they are good enough, you will get clients.

It's an absolute YES! especially if you embrace Ai. Utilize the UI expect of front-end the more and you will soar high.

Front end and UI development is shit now. AI tools design better UI and the code within minutes. I use UI and front end developer alot but over a year now i dont use them again. Currently use grmini or chatgpt with good result.

Definitely still worth in 2026 and always will be. It's competitive now, but there are still opportunities.

frontend alone is harder to sell now, ai gets a decent looking ui done fast and clients know it. what still pays is frontend plus something, like api integrations, performance work, or owning the whole thing from design to deploy.

if someone is starting now i would learn one framework properly and then go deep on what happens around it, auth, payments, hosting. that's the part clients still can't do with a prompt
