How to grow a niche page in 2026?

Currently due to user low span time your hook matters the most and it should be relevant aswell as it will get user attention from which you get views.
Indeed, but this is just part of the equation. The hook must generate interest without fooling anyone, after which the information must come through fast enough to ensure retention.

TBF, the hook makes them stop scrolling, while the relevance keeps them watching. Flashy hooks don't count for much if the content isn't there.

Keep your hooks simple and curiosity driven make the first 1–2 seconds strong and test different hooks and formats with every post. Double down on the content that gets more watch time saves and shares.

I think it's better to focus on a strong hook than on making every post perfect. For reels, write text on the screen and keep it snappy, while in a carousel post, create enough curiosity in the first slide that people will want to swipe to see the next slide, and through testing you'll find out what works best for your audience.

Start your videos directly in the action with a bold question, cut out all pauses, and your watch time will shoot up.
