I'm looking for small content creators who could make a short explainer, screen recording or review video of my web app, and post it to their channel/audience. It can be AI generated as long as it is accurate.

Is there a specific marketplace to find content creators to collab with? Or is cold outreach the main strategy?

cold pitching is pretty effective, I think, at least when u look at smaller creator who already have an active fan base. there are also other site that you can try such as collabstr, facebook nd Discord.

outreach cold seems like a good option to begin with particularly when it comes to smaller creators. it is always better to reach out to those who actually have an audience that would be interessted in what u are offering rather than blindly reaching out bcz someone is popular on instagram.

i am curious about this too I'd probably start with smaller creators who already make content in a similar niche since they seem easier to approach interested to hear whether people are getting better results from marketplaces or direct outreach

If you go the cold outreach route don't do it manually one by one... it takes way too long. scrape youtube channel emails in your niche using search operators or a scraper, then bulk email them. instead of paying flat fees which gets expensive, offer them a lifetime free account for your app plus a high affiliate commission like 30 or 40% recurring. small creators love recurring revenue and it actually gets them to make a decent video because they want those signups. for marketplaces, fiverr is actually okay if you just search for ugc video app review, you can get a decent screen recording for like twenty bucks and then post it yourself on your own socials.

since you said it can be AI generated, you could just make the videos yourself using capcut or heygen and then pay small "faceless" channels in your niche to upload them. those channel owners usually make pennies and will post almost anything for like 15 or 20 bucks. saves you the headache of waiting for a creator to record screen captures and get the details wrong... plus you keep full control over the script.

Smaller creators can actually be a better fit than bigger names they’re often more open to smaller deals and the content tends to feel more natural.

there are certain agencies that creators work with exclusively. You can contact that agencies for smoother campaigns. Also you can search relevant channels and outreach their creators individually. This is some time taking process. But you will get a better deal in this way. generally small creators are actively looking for this type of deals actively so you will get reply fast. One pro tip - Just create a win-win offer for both of you for long term growth..

Would try both instead of relying on one method use YouTube search to find smaller channels already reviewing similar tools then contact them directly, creator Partnerships can also help find relevant creators at scale if the account has access to the feature

You should find content creators who share your vision, or even invite competitors to create some chemistry. You never know what might happen.

completely skips all the typical influencer networks. head straight for subreddits or indie hacker communities, where there were users who are building products in related niches and hit them up with ur affiliate deal through their DMs.

Search youtube for your competitors name + review or tutorial then filter for videos from the last year

you'll quickly get a list of smaller creators who already make the exact type of video you need

Collabstr: A self-service influencer marketplace where tech creators list their service packages and prices upfront, and you can directly purchase reviews, you can take a look

Honestly, it's mostly just reaching out to people. Sites like Collabstr and Insense have small creators you can hire, but the best bet is to DM people who already review tools like yours and offer them free access or a cut of any sales.

Try creator marketplaces like Fiverr or Collabstr, but cold outreach to smaller creators can work better if you find the right niche.

You can find YouTube creators by searching for channels in your niche. Look for creators who make similar videos and have a similar audience like yours. You can also find them in creator groups or on social media. Before reaching out watch some of their videos and think of a video idea that can work for both channels. It is better to contact people who are a good match instead of sending the same message to everyone.

Cold outreach still works surprisingly well, especially with smaller creators. Look for niche creators whose audience matches your app instead of chasing big numbers. Marketplaces can help, but genuine creator relationships usually bring better results.

I’d just reach out to smaller creators directly. Find people already making videos about tools like yours and offer them a paid collab.

Marketplaces can work too, but direct outreach usually gets better fits and better prices.

I normally scout for creators by going throuigh their recent videos in my particular niche and see if any one really asks any questions. That says more to me than number of followers.

Have you tried the JV (joint ventures) section here?
