Hi, I live in France, i'm french and i got an us tiktok account which paid me a bit of money.

Do I need to pay US taxes or since i'm a non-resident "alien" i dont have to ?

Thx!!

No. USA will hold (deduct) your tax at source, unless you have a company located in the USA its not an issue. If you are france resident, you should pay taxes on your business in france only, if thats where you business HQ is.

The United States is one of the countries that does not tax social media platforms; therefore, you are not required to pay any taxes once your account is verified as a U.S. place of business.

if you’re living in France and doing the work from France the fact that the TikTok acc is a US based one doesn’t automatically make the income US taxable.

You do not need to pay taxes, as the United States is one of the countries that does not tax income from social media platforms.

if you do not provide documents proving that you are a foreigner, the platform may have to withhold up to 30% of your earnings before paying you

If you're not a US citizen you only owe tax on US source income so wages earned abroad are generally off the table and you'd file a 1040-NR if you have US sourced earnings. note that treaty rules or state taxes could alter this, so double check your situation.

if youre a nonresident you generally dont owee us tax just because the tiktok account is us based it depends on where the income was earned and your tax status
