Guys, what do you prefer to pitch to clients:
  1. Ranking positions vs lead generation?
  2. How much do you earn from one client per month?

Offline businesses, they dont care about rankings. All they care about is getting new clients and sales. You primary focus should be on lead gen. The amount depend on avg customer value. Just search for how much a avg customer pay for any specific service you want to target like dentists, lawyers in a country you are targeting.

Just avoid USA.

earning depends on experience you have, lead generation can help to get clients, but client will pay if you give him quality results and help to boost his business, so it is very important to have good expericence then you can earn good amount

For me, the conversation starts with the client’s business goal, not a position in Google. I’ll explain rankings as a means to increase relevant organic visibility, but measure the campaign by leads and conversions where tracking is available.

Fair enough, lead generation is more important. So you'd charge for each form submission? How do you track the real customers who actually book the service? A client could claim the leads are fake to avoid paying. Or do you have a different approach?

Also, what commission rate works here? For example, if a dental service pays 200 euros per client, how much would you take?

I would choose to sell leads not ranking positions because customers always care more about receiving calls and queries rather than the position of a keyword the monthly worth of leads will depend on many things including the niche and the quality of leads generated which are your profitable niches?

Leads. Because there's a bunch of businesses interested in selling to the same audience.

Are you actively rank and renting outside US?

What countries work best for you?
I am doing it locally in India, my city is tourist attraction. Most of the income is from conversions. I have friend who was doing lead gens for recovery vehicles in mountain area (Tourist), car break down easily and not many companies provide recovery service in that area, easy to rank and collect commission on conversions.

In past, I have ranked site in UK for Wedding niche, got the first customer for listing through peopleperhour, i was selling SEO services on that site. But its not easy to get customers to list their sites for monthly fee, it sound easy, but its not. You need to be native speaker to convince them to list their site, that too on regular call, or video call. Plus they will ask so many other details. Some of them going to charge back if they see zero results at the end of the month, so be careful with that part too.

Could you help me to answer how do you track those conversions? How do you know whether a form submission turns into a real paying customer?
