Short videos appear to be gaining reach much quicker than regular posts, but that doesn’t mean that regular posts cannot do good, especially if there is something valuable or interesting to share.

In my opinion short videos are best for brand awareness because social platforms push your content to strangers not just your followers.

Sure, short form works really well for reaching people who are not famiiliar with the brand. I would also use normal posts to set the context after this reach.

short videos are good for reach and also win new customers and followers...

shorts can be great for instant vanity gains, but the traffic sucks nd the subscribers you get from the shorts do not convert into clients, tbh. shorts must be used only for getting traffic to your email or telegram or something else off Instagram.

short give you free views quickly, but I had also be watching how many click nd conversions you’re getting – viral views aren’t actually worth much if you don’t have any converting traffic.

Yeah, short videos seem to get more reach, but good posts can still perform really well.

Short videos are the new meta. It's not a long video or a 5-second GIF. It's in the middle, and that's what everyone pays attention to.

i think comparing them only by total views can be misleading.

i'd take the same topic and make one short video + one normal post from it, then compare profile visits, saves, clicks or leads per 1k impressions.

otherwise one format might look better just because the topics you used for it were stronger. for me the winning format is the one that moves people to the next step, not necessarily the one getting the biggest reach.

short videos are pretty good to get audeince, outreach and awareness but for revenue you cant really rely on just short videos the revenue is too less honestly

i think both can serve their purpose. short videos can be used for catching the attention of people easily, while regular posts can give a detailed explanation of an idea nd also give people something valuable to return to. it all might deppend a great deal on the audience nd kind of content being posted.

Yeah, short form works excellently for discovery, in my opinion. But the big thing is converting that awareness into profiles views/follows/site visits; otherwise, it doesn’t multiply awarenes.

Yeah, it makes perfect sense. The short version is used to create that initial effect while the normal posts give the context as to why those people need to stay.

I think it depends more on the product or service you're promoting. If short videos work well for it, keep focusing on them; if the topic needs more explanation, longer videos may work better.

Short videos generally get more reach these days because people have shorter attention spans and consume content much faster.

I think the real metric is what happens after the views. Short videos can bring reach quickly but profile visits, clicks and conversions show whether that reach is actually useful.

Shorts are awesome for vanity metrics and reach, but carousels and text posts really builds trust and get sales done. It all depends on ur product, really.

Shorts are well gud for making people pay attention to the page but have had normal postings generate more helpful clicks. This really depends on whether uhh wants reach or traffic.
