Are facebook originality rules too strict now?

anyone had a post flagged despite adding real value?
Yeah, a lot of creators are seeing this lately. Sometimes even edited or value added posts get flagged because the system relies heavily on automated signals. Clear originality, personal insights, and unique presentation seem to help the most.

This is a common issue; Meta considers numerous factors such as consistency and policy compliance to ensure high-quality creative content, yet such content sometimes still fails to pass Meta's review process.

This is because AI and automated scanning technologies prevent the system from accurately assessing the true value of the content; it merely detects the presence of third-party video segments, leading to the imposition of erroneous penalties.

It can feel pretty strict, especially with content that looks too similar to existing posts.

I’d make sure the post has clear original input, not just small edits or added text. Sometimes even useful content can get flagged if the overall format looks reused.

Filters on fb were completely fucked up; the system flags genuines commnts and requests for editing while bots slip through the cracks. The algorithm on fb is basically a gamble.

anyone had a post flagged despite adding real value?
Yes. A valuable post can still be flagged if the system or users deem the content to be in violation of the platform's standards. Being flagged does not necessarily mean the post lacks value; sometimes the issue stems from phrasing, sensitive keywords, mistaken reports, or automated moderation systems.

I’ve been through it before, I reposted someone else’s content without making any changes or only making very minor, superficial edits. and the result was as you know

yesh i have experienced that myself. some posts may still get flagged even if u provide additional information or comments urself. i believe that the algorithm becomes stricter regarding the format nd similar posts, therefore, even if there is addittional value, it does not always save from being flagged.

It is rear to got remove content if not updating brand name, private service, personal i with wrong content alligating.in some community and group pages it could get remove or not update.

my opinion is that there is a difference between original nd different from what facebooks algorithm perceives. one can provide insightful commentary without making the post different from what the algoritthm has previously encountered. instead of depending on second hand ideas u should come up with unique content to present.

tbh i think fb cares more about how useful ur addition is rather than whether uhh just reworded the post. a very useful remix can be missed if signals indicate reused sources.

Yeah all the time, platform algos don't care about value just engagement metrics and account age
