Are There Any Tracking Guest Post Links After 90 Days

If you already have a Screaming Frog licence, List Mode plus Custom Extraction can check placement URLs in bulk and collect the target link, anchor and rel attributes. Save a baseline and compare later crawls, but verify failed fetches before marking a link removed. Their walkthrough: https://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/blog/audit-backlinks/

people invest on guestposting so it is important to know for them that links are live or not, so for this purpose many people use marketplaces that is best options as it helps the linkbuilders to manage links

Yeah, definitely. Link tracking avoids so many headaches, tbh. Marketplaces are good, but I would still manually check certain places here and there.

Do you folks track guest post links for indexing and retaining value after a couple of months or so? Some links seem to get lost in just a few days.
Yes, it’s worth checking guest post links every now and then for indexing, placement and status, because links can disappear or lose value over time without notice.

A link can still be live but become less useful if the article gets heavily edited or loses its original context.

I run them through Ahrefs periodically to check if they're still live, some sites remove guest posts quietly after a while. Links dying within days usually means the site itself is low quality.
Yeah, checking them periodically is definitely worth it. If the guest post disappears after just a couple of days, it's probably a warning sign.
