Does anyone have some tactics to help convert clicks into conversions for igaming on meta? I'm having to run cloaking and I drive 15/20k of clicks through to site, but only 5 or 6 convert. My ad is a generic "game of the week" message so I was expecting a low conversions rate. But this feels too low, any thoughts?

This sounds more like a conversion problem than an advertising problem since you have only 5–6 conversions with 15–20k clicks. I would examine loading times, drop-off points, geographics and devices, and high intent clicks before switching ads.

This looks like a conversion problem.

Basically what has happened is for 15 to 20K clicks, you just got roughly 0.04 percentage of conversion.

So there is something wrong with the funnel, customer moving from landing page to registration to first deposit. You need to check on this if you want to fix this issue.

Adding more budget and running more ads will not solve this issue.

would you expect there to be a load time issue if you're using cloaking to redirect to the offer page?

do you think the load time on the redirect from the cloaking software could be the issue? Maybe clicks are not seeing the landing page to begin with?

Yes definitely, could also be a reason. Some cloakers have issues and they dont redirect properly. Even if u dont add the settings properly, it may get into issue.

So cloaking could also be the issue, if u have any kind of analytics installed into main site, u can identify if it is cloaker or conversion issue by tracking over the metrics.

Lowkey seems more like a problem of the funnel rather than the advertisement. I would see what kind of geographies and devices perform better, and how fast is the page loading.

I only have access to GA4 and I can see sessions coming from my links are around 10% of the registered clicks of my links. I am using an affiliate link so I can see the link clicks via a 3rd party, not meta. To me this feels like a redirect issue rather than the site load speed, but I'll keep digging. I will reach out to cloaking house and see if they can test

15k clicks with only 5 conversions sounds like the landing page or offer is the main issue, id test the page and message before pushing more traffic.
