When buying mobile or residential proxies, which pricing model do you prefer, playing per gb or paying for a fixed period(weekly/ monthly)? What makes you prefer one option over the other ?

I use subscription for mobile proxies. Since i can rotate the IP is better and i believe more cost effective if you need to upload for example or do other task that require high data usage. May be cheaper or better if you just want it for light data /gb

Depends on your volume. If u are burning 50GB+ a month, subscription is cheaper. For light use per GB win.

Per GB gives you a pool of multi country proxies so it depends on what you're looking for

It depends on the usage. If only for basic account management, paying per GB is enough. But if for doing a lot of activities and using the proxies heavily, go for subscription with unlimited data.

for regular tasks i prefer a subscription, i use a lot of traffic, so its cheaper for me. if the task is small or i only need proxies sometimes, i can choose to pay per gb. but most of the time i use a subscription, so it depends on the tasks. ypu can try both options and see which one works better for you

Depends on how much traffic you push. Per GB makes sense for light or irregular use, like a few price checks a day or testing, since you only pay for what you actually use. As soon as the volume is steady or high, a flat weekly or monthly price on a dedicated IP wins easily, because per-GB costs add up fast and make your bill hard to predict. Flat pricing also tends to come with a dedicated device rather than a shared pool, which usually means a cleaner IP and more stable sessions.

For comparable plans, divide the monthly fee by the per-GB price: a hypothetical $30/month versus $2/GB breaks even at 15GB. Check bandwidth caps, credit expiry and connection limits too, since the billing model alone doesn't tell you whether the offers are equivalent.

Since it works on your own computer, Cloudflare doesn't like that specific IP, not your scraper. With high bandwidth on one static IP it gets a bad score quick, all requests come from the same address. For this kind of scraping rotating residential works better, every IP does just a few requests and Cloudflare doesn't see a pattern. Only when the page needs a login or cookie, keep one IP for some minutes with sticky. Also when you buy ISP check the ASN on ipinfo, many "ISP" are just datacenter. I'm at DataImpulse, we don't sell ISP, only rotating or sticky, so keep that in mind.

monthly unlimited if you can find it .
I think unlim is often more of marketing term. For mob proxies, operators can throttle the connection, and the phones themselves can eventually fail or overheat under very heavy traffic.
