I was thinking this too- i have a few with them and now im checking if there is a backup, ive emailed 3 different emails ive got for them and all 3 are now bouncing back. It looks very bad , even if they come back up i think this might make me want to migrate elsewhere

yeah this is very sad , 2 day down ive lost 2 incomes im extremely annoyed and i am trying to see if i have an automatic back up- feel sick at this. I think they are cooked for some reason

I cant beleive it - im praying my IT guy has a back up if not ive lost an entire business ! i just need a back up, I saw they had been ddos a while back etc but surely a ddos wouldnt take everything out for 2 days now and then also they could just make us all aware ?

this is really bad for you and me . i dont see why they would do this- how do i even get to transfer out my domains they have - ive not got a back up too - they have lost me thousands - im absolutely on the ground

Yeah it sucks, my income just got obliterated from this hosting. Pretty pissed about it myself, especially the lack of communication on their part. Although IDK what happened, it could be extreme so I guess I have a little sympathy to the unknown, because they probably lost a shitload of money too with this happening to their business. I had to contact two seperate companies to try and unlock the domains so I can transfer them. Haven't heard back from either of them yet tho...

so on another forum i can see a rival company has said they have closed down! they randomly commented so they must know something we don't but looks like its over guys ! i dont know if im allowed to mention the other place - just google offshore servers and in the forum you will see the official company say change the status to closed down ! they obviously have inside info - its 100% over :-( they have well and truly cost me

Guys this is like a sigh of relief but also still a shitshow. I'm gonna have to build my traffic up again, who knows how long that will take but hopefully our sites get restored within the next couple of days. I was already in the process of getting different hosting and everything. We'll see how this goes...look forward to seeing your responses lol

its defo positive i saw this too , time frame is hard as loosing income each day feels like an eternity , but there is light at the end of the tunnel and they are gonna get us back up n running , i might move my domain out and continue hosting but then at least i can quickly re upload and i have the dns control ! but this is a breath of relief for sure

This is a major incident at the Equinix AM4 data center that has affected multiple providers. Unfortunately, our entire infrastructure was impacted (Except Location Russia), including our backup servers, which also meant we were unable to communicate with you as quickly as we should have. We truly apologise for this.

Please know that our team is working around the clock to get everything back online. We are currently working on moving the affected servers out of the impacted racks/cages to a shared floor and restoring the services as quickly as possible.
We understand that 3–4 days of downtime is a lot, especially when your business depends on these services. Unfortunately, some of the issues are beyond our control, and while we are doing everything we can to resolve them, we cannot confirm that all servers will be back online today.
Please be assured that we are actively working on the recovery and doing our best to get your service running again as soon as possible.

do you guys know of a good offshore cloud back up - as in back my websites up every few days such as AWS3 but one i can pay with crypto or remain anonymous ?

You can use a cheap backup service anywhere that offer backup services with crypto - and set backups daily / weekly.
Domains were never affected - all domains are the same - It was only our Server RACKs that were affected by the Issue with our VPS, Hosting and some customer servers ( Not all of them , that is why only some customers servers went down while others stayed up, and why only some customers were writing on this thread).
Our mian website / portal was on those server racks that got affected as well - which is why in the same time we lost access to the emails ( to respond ) so we couldnt even login on the forum to post an update about the incident.
Some servers are already restored and we are constantly working on de-racking and moving the other servers as well, its not only 1-2 servers its multiple racks so it takes time especialy when working with 3hd party operators - hopefully in the next 24/48h all services will be restored back to normal.
I know there is no way to compensate for your business losses. We understand that 4-5 days of downtime is a lot, especially when your business depends on these services and it affects traffic and SEO - Unfortunately, these issues are beyond our control.
And since ive seen some concerns about this in the thread and i want to get this straight - We have been around since 2016 - one thing to notice is that WE WOULD NEVER close down without any previous notice or leave our customers without their data !
We learn from our mistakes - we are setting up a backup rack on a completly different location - especialy for this kind of scenarios and to avoid these specific issues in the future - so your data is always safe.
We sincerely apologise once again for the disruption and we appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this.

You can do that with cpanel and Wasabi S3 (Cheap storage).
Have the cpanel backup your data daily/weekly, upload it to wasabi using a script, daily/weekly.
It's just you need to have some server side knowledge. For me, ChatGPT helped to setup it.
Now it's backing up nicely, daily and with 7 day retention period.
