which platform gives you the most unexpected traffic?

For me, probably newsletters/email. A random mention in someone else’s newsletter can send a surprising amount of highly targeted traffic. Pinterest and Quora can also be weirdly effective depending on the niche.

Yep if you want to get positively surprised Pinterest, Reddit and Quora are the best socials for you and can drive traffic to your page for YEARS.

You can spend time trying to get attention on larger platforms and then have one genuinely useful Reddit comment bring in more relevant visitors than expected. The interesting part is that the traffic often comes from people who already have a specific problem they are trying to solve.

For me, traffic from smaller niche communities can sometimes be more surprising than the big platforms. The audience may be smaller, but the engagement can be much higher when the content matches what they are looking for.

Biggest surprise for me was an old forum answer that kept sending buyers for 2 years, way more than any social post. Anyone tracking which of those answers actually convert vs just bring readers

For me, the surprise platform was TikTok; I posted a very random video, but it strangely went viral.

Honestly, I never thought traffic could come from so many different places. I always assumed it was mostly Google and social media. Still have a lot to figure out!

not the biggest platform just the one that surprise you.
the fact of the matter is, it is the older threads on forums which have impressed me more than some of the new traffic services. you make a gud response, forget all about it, and you continue to get traffic from it for months and years to come. people always try to find their next source of traffic, but they never bother to check out their old threads.
