are people searching more with full questions now?

I know I am I always did so I guess for people like me it's taking even less effort and it's a great thing.
Bur nah people still search one two and three words.

have you changed your keyword research because of this?
It's very rare that people search with full questions and mostly if your blog is well optimized the keywords you have worked on will also help get the search on top.

Yeah AI is taking over. People are no longer searching for kw's but ask actual questions. I haven't scrolled down from the AI section in ages now. SEO is so cooked

Yeah I’ve noticed more question style searches too I’ve started paying more attention to search intent and how people actually phrase their questions rather than focusing only on short keywords

I was always searching with full questions, but now Google AI tries hard to answer everything in their snippet, they even push you to ask further questions. I wonder what their end game is, because all these answers come from actual people - forums/other blogs. If people stop writing blogs, where will they source the content to train their models?!

People now ask questions like they're talking to a real person; i do that too.

That has not changed keyword research, and targeting keywords.

Google understands the search intent, and rank pages accordingly.

If you make your page title 13 words and 100 characters exactly as the search phrase, that would still not make your rank the page if it's unworthy in Google's eyes

People with money want to spend harder then ever before. They don't care about free, reading and complexity. They are all gold fish. Be happy and exploit it. The people that have the answers to the questions are the sellers now. Not the blogs about the sellers. People don't have time to read blogs, they go straight to buying mode, and read reviews and details on supplier sites and purchase. You have to do a pattern interrupt, and make your blog, not a static wordpress thing. Which are boring and cold. You want an interactive front page, for the product / service you are offering / specializing in. Then you can capture the interest of traffic, and in turn direct them to your blog, where you have regular updates, that those that do care still about coming to your site and reading, can.

Also there are sites like tumblr, medium and substack, that allow you to blog for free, and you can direct traffic to your homepage if youa re talking about your business generally in all your posts, and what things you think are also relevant that you've learned for your audience.

have you changed your keyword research because of this?
yes i have been paying more attention to longer, conversational search queries. rather than just concenttrating on shorter keywords i think about what kind of search queries ppl may enter nd create content that would answer them. this is also an excellent way of covering variations.

have you changed your keyword research because of this?
Yess totally because voice search and AI answers revolutionised the way that people search. It completely shifted towards using conversational, long-tail questions rather than short two word seeds.

Try a site-specific check in GSC: filter queries for phrases like 'how to' or 'why does' and compare equal periods with the same country/device filters. Treat it as a rough signal because anonymized queries are omitted, then use the actual questions to spot gaps in your content.

Yep, people now search like they're texting a friend, with full questions instead of single keywords. I also don't do keyword research myself. :)

Yes, people are searching with full question more often due to voice search and AI search tools, keywords, research has shifted to focus on long tail question phrases and matching full user intent rather than just short terms.

Indeed, I have seen an increase in questions being asked via queries too. however, the emphasis will always be on intent nd topic rather than matching the exact phrase.

Search intent is great overall but haven't you lost a good amount of traffic nowadays, because the people ask the AI and it features maybe the 2-3 top results from their questions?

but what I have seen is that there is a growing trend in people searching in a question form. But the problem that persists with me being concerned about the intentions behind the searches still exists, and the fact that clicks are made by AI means that the end of long tail traffic hasn't come yet.

Of course, long tail questions should now be tracked too. For me, the main thing is to match the real intention of the question.

i m moving past the conventional search lists that have keywords. searches now seem more converssational since most of them are posed by people who need answers to some problems. in addition, asking the question helps u know what the user is actually looking for on that page.

For question-based queries, AI completely dominates the top positions. I focus on keywords that aren’t phrased as questions to avoid competing with AI.
