A few years ago , many marketers focused heavily on Quora spaces for reach and engagement. Recently ,I have heard mixed opinions about their effectiveness.

Are Quora spaces still useful for building an audience in 2026?

What strategies are currently working best for growing engagement inside spaces?

Quora Spaces are still useful, but they don't grow the way they used to. They seem to work best there is consistent posting in a very specific niche and real discussion happening in the comments. Spaces that feel more like communities than content feeds tend to get better engagement.

yeah it's not as it used to be. it still works for really niche stuff, like specific industry questions. but don't expect the traffic it brought a few years ago. now you just answer questions honestly, don't think about dropping links, share real experiences. sometimes people check your profile

I think Spaces can be useful for trying different types of posts and seeing what people actually respond to. If one post gets more reactions or comments, you can get a better idea of what your audience likes and make more content around that.

I think old posts can still be useful for people who join later. They can look through the previous content and find helpful ideas or answers without waiting for new posts.
So the older content can still have some value.

Yes, Quora spaces can still work, but I think the results depend heavily on the Space and how active its audience is. Consistent, useful posts and genuine discussions are more important than simply posting frequently.

I think the topic of the Space matters a lot too. If people already have questions about that topic, it may be easier for the Space to get noticed and attract members naturally.

Yes 100% agree. You can also ask your respective audience what they like more and test different variations of your posts to satisfy the curiosity of you audience.

I haven’t used Spaces that much yet, but I’d probably judge them by the people coming back, not just the follower count.

A Space with a smaller but active audience could still be useful.

to be honest following number is not that important nowadays. I would rather concentrate on recurring view nd comment. If people do not come back and do not participate in discussions, I would not waste too much time there.

They can still work for niche audiences, but consistent useful posts and real engagement matter more now than just having a Space.

I haven’t worked with Spaces much, but I’m wondering how much the title and description of a Space affect its growth.

If someone discovers a Space for the first time, those might be the first things that tell them what the Space is actually about.
