Honestly? Content writing isn't dead, but the game has completely changed.

If someone was just churning out generic, basic 500-word SEO articles that sounded like a textbook, AI basically ate their lunch. That kind of writing is a commodity now.

But for actual good writers? It’s a different story.

AI can regurgitate facts and write fast, but it can't share real human experience, hot takes, actual interviews, or that specific tone/humor that makes a reader stay on a page. People are already getting tired of reading the same bland, robotic AI voice everywhere online.

Right now, the best writers aren't fighting AI—they're using it to do the boring research and outlining, while they focus on the actual strategy, voice, and personal touch. So yeah, the low-effort writing jobs are mostly gone, but top-tier, opinionated, high-value human writing is actually worth more now than it was before.

Generic content is much easier to replace now, but writers who bring original insights, experience, or a unique voice are still valuable. AI is a tool, not a replacement for that.

AI has definitely wiped out the average, low-tier content writers. However, top-tier writers who can add real human experience, emotion, and unique insights are actually more valuable than ever right now. You can't fully fake that personal touch yet.

exactly, generic seo writing got commoditized, but writers who bring real experience, research and a strong voice still have plenty of room. the key is using ai for speed without letting it become the actual writer.

There’s still a market for people who know how to write well and provide a good experience for their audience. It’s not that difficult to spot typical AI writing patterns. I think people will seek out and place more value on well-written content created by humans, If not now, definitely in the future.

If you can write well, with personality, in an engaging way, then you're still going to do well. It's easier to stand out now with everyone sounding the same.

yeah i think good writers are still needed. ai made basic content cheaper but real experience and a good voice still matters most

Agreed that AI works very well with the "heavy lifting" like research and structure/layout. A good writer should never abandon their own sense of style and tone of voice to churn out purely AI-written rubbish

ai kils everything by the time so i don't think this will work because ai can write better with more engagement so that's up to you

Well said, I agree that generic articles are easy for AI now, but real experience and a personal voice are what keep readers on the page. Using AI for research and outlines while keeping the writing human seems like the smart way to go.

Honestly same thoughts. Generic content writing is a commodity now, AI ate that lunch hard.
But the writers who bring real interviews, hot takes, or just a human tone people actually stick around for are still eating.
So yeah, use AI for the grunt work, keep the strategy and personality yours, top-tier stuff is worth more these days.

AI is not replacement for content writers, it is just a myth. Rather, it is a helping hand. The only thing a writer must learn is to take it help wisely as it can help in saving a lot of time and efforts in searching and bringing variations in writing. But a writer must not be dependent on AI results. Proofread everytime the generated text, add your personal touch (this is want readers look for) and bring credibility to the content by adding actual insights and facts. It is to be noted that if a person wants AI result they can directly ask information from AI but now they have come to you so they are actually looking for your personal touch.

Absolutely. AI will help expedite the process, but it cannot substitute actual experience and perspective. The secret lies in leveraging the capabilities of AI to reduce the effort spent while ensuring that the end result is worth coming back to.
