I am a developer, focusing on software, tools and automation. I also have a good amount of knowledge within web-developing.
I am trying to find places where people would pay for a developer service.

Have you got a website advertising your services that people can click through to, and get help or updates on their projects from you? Is it good? Is it marketed regularly?

yes I do have a website where I advertise it. It is not marketed regularly tho, but thats what I need ideas for. Where can I advertise it?

Where do you already see everyone who has similar services to you advertising and doing well popularity wise, and have you got a research spreadsheet to track them and more to give you decision making stats?

I assume no, you should do this asap. The reason being if you can find people, then YOU know you have a similar service to them, and can replicate their marketing channels and similar efforts.

Nobody here is going to give you a complete analysis of your business, and your turn key opportunities. People don't have that time. You're the one that should be able to spend 5-10 hours at least answering your VERY basic question. Don't expect a magical money tree sentence idea to turn your life around. Things take time and energy, to be worthwhile anything different than the pumping of spam all over the place. Your question is borderline spam, lol it has no teeth to it. No "here is what i done the past 30 days on my own effort guys, now what other ideas you have for me?"

That would show that you made the effort and planted the seed first. You can't go expecting a fire if you don't go out and make the effort to collect the firewood. Same here. You need to get busy IF you are any good.

youtube. if you don't know how to do it then partner with someone who can 'hack' the algorithm

Approach small web agencies with a demo of one automation, such as scheduled client reports. Offer a fixed-scope paid pilot, then use delivery feedback to refine the offer.
