This method is already circulating on a few other forums, so I thought I’d share it here as well. I tried it myself and it worked. It’s a legit method, nothing grey or shady involved.

Steps:
  1. Connect using an Indian IP and Jio as the carrier. You can find proxies that support this from various providers.
  2. Use a Gmail account and make sure the date of birth on the account shows that you are 18 above.
  3. Once you’re logged into Gmail, open the Jio offer page and click claim:

  1. Make sure the page shows the pricing and offer in Indian currency.

5. You should see an "Activate Plan" button. Click it and, if the offer is available for your account, Gemini Pro should be activated. No credit card was required in my case.

Caution: If your IP leaks, changes location, or Google/Jio detects something unusual, you may be asked for additional verification. So make sure your connection is stable and actually shows India/Jio before trying the offer.

Get Gemini Pro, create AI videos, and happy money-making!

No, it should not! Even, I do not use any VPN, I still see the correct page and no redirect. Please check again so it might not confuse others.

Your post is very useful; I needed this right at the right moment. I hope many more people get to see it.

Can you elaborate it more what if someone dont have access to jio sim then?

it's not available for someone outside india(since a jio sim is required) am I wrong ?

We should claim the offer in My Jio app with an active 5G plan. I didn't know that the offer can be claimed directly through Jio website using a random gmail account. It's great if it works.

Have you tried it?

Interesting method. I’d definitely be careful with any third-party method, especially if it requires sharing account details or installing unknown software. Official offers or legitimate trials are always the safer option.

I got this offer through 5G recharge in India, so I didn't need this workaround. The offer can be claimed through the email linked to the mobile number with 5G. They also say that the 5G recharge must be continued until the end of offer period (18 months). So, I'm not sure if it works for others.

this limited to people in india since the offer is tied to jio and you need a jio connection to claim it

It won’t work unless you have an active 5G plan with a recharge of at least Rs 349. You might see the claim offer, but it will just redirect to their homepage without applying the offer.

Carrier-gated promos like this usually check the SIM's MCC/MNC plus the account region, so a proxy alone often fails; did anyone get it working on a fresh Google account with no Jio SIM?
