There are so many link building methods available but not all of them last. I'd like to know which backlink type are giving you the most stable rankings over serval months. Are you focusing more on guest posts, niche edits, digital PR or something else?

Guest posts and niche edits are the best but they do need to come from highly authoritative relevant websites.

Guest posting. Once you start doing it, you notice that your website starts performing so much better

Editorial citations, mention of the site in niches that the site belongs to, and good quality guest posting generally provide the most beneficial SEO value.

the process of guest posting makes a huge difference once you begin doing it properly. Once you create some relevant placements, you will notice how your website performs.

relevant backlinks most stable over time. guest posts can work but backlinks from sites that are actually related to the topic. a few good relevant links usually feel better than building lot of random ones

i usually prefer links from relevant sites that get real traffic and digital pr placements on trusted authority websites can also be useful

Editorial links, Topically relevant niche links, Digital PR/journalist mentions, Real local links, Resource/reference links, Strong niche guest posts

If the goal is stable results over several months, I’d put more emphasis on how the link was earned than on whether it is technically a guest post, niche edit, or PR link.

i usually go with niche edits, clean niche relevant pbn links, guests posts and pr

For long term I've had better results from relevant guest posts on sites that actually rank for their own keywords. I'd take one of those over five high dr links from sites with no real traffic

Count me as a former DR chaser. Hot_Box's take flipped my thinking: one guest post on a site that actually ranks beats five high DR links from nowhere. Now I'm checking traffic before pitching.

Niche edits and some private blog networks still holding for me longer than guest posts. What are you seeing work best lately?

placement matters more than the link type itself if the site is relevant and the link actually makes sense in the content it tends to hold up better over time guest post can work but not rely on them alone
