What are the best methods to monetize a blog in 2025?

I’m still making money from my blog through AdSense, but my earnings have been declining as traffic has decreased compared to before. I’m considering shifting toward affiliate marketing because I believe AI-powered search will have a significant impact on website traffic in the future.

Your problem is AdSense, not display advertising. Recipe and food content sits among the better paying verticals on the premium networks, because the advertisers are grocery, appliance and CPG brands with real budgets, and because recipe pages hold someone on screen long enough to serve more than one impression. The identical traffic that earns pennies through AdSense earns a multiple of it elsewhere. That gap is the whole story here, not your niche being too narrow.
 
You could try affiliate marketing, especially for yogurt makers, kitchen tools, and related products.
 
Try affiliate links for yogurt makers, probiotics, recipe ebooks, plus brand sponsorships.
 
If AdSense earnings are low, I’d test affiliate offers related to the yogurt niche and see how the audience responds.
You could also try sponsored content once the blog gets consistent traffic. :)
 
ads may be low in a small food niche so test affiliate products that match the recipes like yogurt makers or kitchen tools you can also build an email list and use it to promote your own recipe guide or selected products
 
Ads affiliateand selling your own product/service, these are the main three. For me affiliate plus own is usually more scalabe than just ads.
