Hi BHW,

I’ve been making a living as a freelancer on Fiverr for years, but lately, I haven't had much activity there. I’m getting very few leads. On top of that, I recently dealt with a bad client who kept reopening an order—about five times—and because of them, I ended up closing it a month late. As a result, my Success Score has plummeted, and I’m not getting any new orders.

I’m thinking about buying a couple of reviews for myself using a virtual machine and a VPN with new accounts—completing the orders early, chatting extensively, and giving myself two 5-star reviews—to try and boost my success score and qualify for Level 2.

What do you think? Would you recommend it? Or would it be better to buy reviews via BHW from people with older accounts?

Honestly, I’m afraid of losing my Fiverr account, since it’s my source of income for living as a freelancer.

I appreciate your help... thanks!

Don't try to do it yourself. If you don't have experience with fiverr reviews you might get your account banned.
Your best chance is to find out what's the situation with buying fiverr reviews. Is it working and where can your buy.
If you get a bad buyer just ask him to send the order cancellation request or you send him the cancellation request and cancel the order.
That's the best option. Then block him.
Fiverr is full of tirekickers and penny pinchers. Lot of psycho and even criminals.
It's a waste of time to work with them.
Remember order cancellation and block is best way to to get rid of them.

I wouldnt risk buying reviews at all, especially if the account is your main income.

Fiverr explicitly treats self-buying, arranged orders and third party feedback boosting as manipulation and says it can lead to suspension. Older accounts wont make it “safe” either.

Best move is probably to protect the account and rebuild the score naturally. Check which Gig factors are dragging you down, tighten delivery times/communication and focus on getting a few clean orders completed. Fiverr says the score uses longer-term performance anyway, so one bad order shouldnt define the account forever.

I wouldn't touch the VM + VPN review idea with a ten-foot pole, especially since this account pays your bills. Fiverr's detection has gotten noticeably sharper over the last couple of years — it's not just IP they're looking at, it's device fingerprints, buyer behavior patterns, even how the conversation flows. I've seen people lose decade-old accounts overnight over a single self-bought review. Definitely not worth it when this is your livelihood.

What actually worked for me when my score tanked was stacking quick wins. I dropped the price slightly on my smallest gig package, over-delivered on turnaround time, and just churned through clean, simple orders. Every completed order with a good private review moves the needle, and two months of steady small orders did more for my visibility than any shortcut ever would have.

One thing I'd add to what the others said: cancel-and-block is the right call for obvious nightmare buyers, but use it sparingly. Too many cancellations ding your score as well, so it's not a free move. Most of the time a firmer scope conversation before accepting the order avoids the revision-loop trap entirely.

Rebuild it naturally, and if a buyer starts reopening an order like that again, hit the Resolution Center before it drags on for weeks. The longer a bad order stays open, the more damage it does.

Thanks man. Yeah, lesson learned with that buyer. I should have cancelled and blocked him after the second reopen instead of letting it drag for a month. Next time I'll cut it much earlier

Thanks, that makes sense. You're right, it's not worth risking the account that pays my bills. I'll check what's pulling my gig stats down and focus on getting some clean orders done

Really appreciate this, super helpful. I think I'll do exactly that: cheaper entry package, fast delivery and stack small clean orders. And next time a buyer starts looping I'll go to the Resolution Center right away. Out of curiosity, how much did you drop the price on that small package? Just a bit or a big cut?

Buy ads onsite and offsite and at the same time buy reviews with strong accounts

Thanks! The ads part makes sense, I was already thinking about testing Promoted Gigs and some offsite traffic to a cheaper entry gig. On the reviews I'll pass for now, too risky for my main account as the other users saying. Have you had good results with Fiverr's onsite ads?

I wouldn’t risk fake reviews on the account that pays your bills. Even if it works for a while, one bad flag could cost you the whole account. I’d focus on getting a few clean orders again and fixing the gig issues that caused the score to drop.

It's not risky if you don't lower the price of your gigs. I have made 6 figures in Fiverr, just do it. Make sure they go in homepage, type your keywords, then find your gig, scroll for 1 minute the gig, ask you a question, then buy. Do you think fiverr will be able to tell? Fiverr loves money, they don't gf unless you blatantly buy reviews. Obviously this gonna cost you more but it is what it is.

If fiverr is your actual income i would leave self reviews alone completely. They compare far more than the ip, payment details and device fingerprint get looked at, and a buyer account that only ever orders from one seller sticks out on its own.

Risking the account that pays your bills to chase a score is a bad trade.

On the order itself, it is worth opening a ticket with support and explaining that the client reopened it five times. They do not always fix it but the note sits on the file and sometimes it gets reviewed.

The score moves on recent orders anyway, so a run of small jobs delivered early will pull it back up over time. Slower than you want but it does not put anything at risk.

I would also stop relying on fiverr search alone and bring a few buyers in from elsewhere while it recovers.

I'd focus on getting a few genuine orders again, even if they're smaller at first. It may take longer, but at least you're rebuilding the score without putting the whole account at risk.

Do NOT fake reviews on your primary income account. Fiverr’s system easily links VMs/VPNs and flags review buyers, which leads to a permanent ban for feedback manipulation. It’s safer to temporarily lower your gig prices to get organic orders and work the score back up

Thanks, makes sense. Losing the whole account for a couple of reviews is not worth it. Going with clean orders and fixing the gigs

Appreciate you sharing that, congrats on the 6 figures. I'll still pass on it though, most people here agree it's not worth the risk on my main account. Going the slow way with real orders for now

Thanks man, really useful. I actually tried to open a ticket about the 5 reopens, but the contact support button doesn't work for me. Tried on different days and nothing happens. Do you know any other way to reach them? And yeah, I'm already working on bringing buyers from outside while the score recovers

Thanks! Yeah, smaller orders it is

Thanks, got it. Lowering prices on the entry package for a while and building it back up with real orders

Promoted Gigs should be running all the time.

The prices are much better compared to any other form of advertising, and the returns can be crazy. I have had very good results with them, at least a 6 - 7x ROI.

Forget about buying or manipulating reviews. Do not play with fire. Every review should be real. This is a must.
