Hi everyone
What will happen to all my data if I delete my Facebook account ? Will that data still be stored internally on Facebook or can even Facebook no longer access it?

ou get 30 days to change your mind, if you log back in during that time the deletion gets cancelled. after that meta says it can take up to 90 days to wipe your stuff from their systems

but a few things stick around:

messages you sent are still in the other person's inbox
some logs and data they keep for legal stuff, bans, fraud etc
backup copies can hang around for a while after the 90 days, just not visible on fb anymore
so no, it's not gone the moment you click delete. download your info first (settings > your information > download) if you want a copy. if you just want a break, deactivate instead, that keeps everything

facebook deletion is not a one click process that will instantly erase all ur information from its systems. ur account nd profile will be deleted according to their process of deletion but there may be some information left for a while in backup storrage. there are other things like ur information saved by others.

after 30 to 60 days your all data will be remove from meta data base. when we upload our data base in meta to verify or recover our accounts, in that time meta stored our data base for 30 to 60 days. after passing this period our data automatically remove from the meta data store.

Thank you! Indeed, large corporations like Meta always have complex data processing procedures and backup systems rather than simply deleting things immediately.

Thank you, as far as I know, the account will enter a 30-day waiting period. During these 30 days, if we log in again, the deletion request will be canceled.

As far as I can see, after 30 days, the data is permanently deleted from the interface and storage. But, Meta can still retain internal records (system logs, messages sent to others) for security and legal purposes.

Deleting your account removes you from Facebook temporarily (meaning no one can find you). If you do not change your mind within 30 days, the account becomes unrecoverable, and after 90 days, your data is completely erased from Facebook.

but it is not something that happen overnight, I would advise you to download whatever u require before deleting your account becuz sometimes the data still lingers in the form of backup or messages from other people.

Deleting your Facebook account usually removes your profile, but some data may remain in backups for a while.

I think when you delete FB account, the data will not effect to you whatever it's stored or not, so pls don't worry.

Hello, deleting your Facebook account and its information requires time for consideration. If you wish to reverse your decision, it will take 90 days, after which you will not be able to recover it. Please make the necessary decisions.

afaik, once u delete an account, the account is deleted gradually, although sm of ur information may still exist in the backups or anywhere it may be connected to the activities of others.

Your data will be retained for 90 days after you delete your account; it will not be lost immediately but will be preserved during this period. You can copy your account information and data before making a final decision, and you have 90 days to reverse that decision.

If you permanently delete your Facebook account, your data does not immediately disappear from Meta's entire system.

Your account and content will enter the deletion process. You will no longer have normal access to the account once the deletion process is complete.

Account deletion does not necessarily equates to data deletion, particularly data copies like backup files or those shared by others through posts.

When deleting an account facebook gives you a timeframe after which your data will be permanently deleted. I don't remember exactly but i think it's 60 days.

Permanently deleting the data means they no longer have access to it.

Deletion of an account doesnt necessarily mean that all copies of data disappear immediately in my opinion there were still backups and data associated with other accounts that may last for some time.

Your profile and posts should disappear after deletion but messages you sent can still stay in other people's inboxes. Meta may also retain some records internally for security and legal reasons so deletion isn't the same as wiping every trace.

Facebook says it can take up to 30 days to fully erase, and some data (like messages you sent to others) may remain in their systems for legal/compliance reasons,

but your account data won’t be accessible to you or other users after deletion.
