While many pay attention to CTR and volume of traffic, the truth about its effectiveness begins once the visitor arrives at your website. What are the metrics that you track to know if the traffic is worth the cost?

High CTR gets visitors through the door, but GA4 engagement rate, average dwell time, and goal conversions (form fills/signups) reveal if the traffic actually holds value. I also keep an eye on scroll depth to ensure users are engaging with the main content rather than bouncing immediately.

to be honest, CTR will look amazing even without any traffic. usually, for me, the bounce rate, subid data nd LP conversion are the criteria of evaluation.

CTR does not work for me because there have been several cases in which there were a lot of click but no value at all. subids, bounce rate nd LP conversions are how I track my campaign.

I would track engagement time, bounce/exit rate and conversions from traffic sources. Clicks might be very nice looking but not doing anything useful for you.

For me conversion rate is the main one, but I also check engagement and how long people stay on the page.

i do not stick with just CTR nd traffic. instead i go one step further nd see what visitors do after they reach there. the metrics that i consider include conversion rate, time on site, engagement, bounce rate or exit rate nd leads or sales. low traffic can be very valuable if it generattes conversions.

Returning visitors are useful for me too, especially for blogs and other sites where people may come back later.

I usually look beyond clicks and traffic to see whether visitors are actually taking action. I’d track engagement, conversion rate, leads or sales, and cost per conversion
