I recently increased the daily budget on one of my facebook campaigns because it was getting decent results at the lower budget. after increasing it, the results changed. the spend is going up, but the cost conversion is also higher and I am getting fewer conersions than before. I did not change the ads or targeting, only the budget. Has anyone faced this after increasing the budget? is it better to increase it slowly instead?

normal with FB ads, a bigger budget can push the campaign into different traffic pools.

yes this do happen, personally i try small budget increase and do that little by little before making an adjustment

A bigger budget can also increase frequency, so watch if the same people are seeing the ads too often.

Yes happen to me also i'm not sure how but i think is like programed this way first you get great results and conversion cost then the conversion cost go drastically up ....... i'm wondering is this working like into gambling once you got addicted they try to get as much money from you it seem....

Yeah, I have noticed cost variations similar to those, but I would not take it for granted that the system is programmed to bleed out spending.

yes, I think increasing slowly is better. give the campaign some time after each increase and check if CPA is still going up.

Also if the spend increases quickly it can look a bit risky to Facebook and might put a hold on the ad

have seen some people who experienced the same and they were told to slowly increase.

I share that same view. Because advertisements reach a broader audience, the proportion of genuinely interested customers gets diluted.

Increasing your budget too much at once without changing your target audience and reach will drive up costs. This is because your ads will appear more frequently to those same audience segments, leading to higher expenses.

Yes, this is common when scaling Meta ads. Higher budgets can change delivery and reach less efficient audiences. Try smaller budget increases, give the campaign time to stabilize, and monitor CPA before scaling further.
