So, it's about finding someone skilled who also fits the style I'm aiming for? That’s very practical.
I’ve tried taking videos from other platforms before, but even with a watermark, I still got hit with copyright strikes and subsequently saw my reach restricted. So, I don't think this is a viable approach.

yes it's possible to make money from youtube shorts. there are some criteria to get monetization on your shorts channel. you have to complete 1k subscribers in a year and 10M views in 3 months. if you have patient and will power to do this, then it will be easy for you.

You should focus on making edits and cuts from longer video and adding music i see this works well for many. Also you may want to invest in capcut it should help speed up the procees but at the beginning you may want to start testing the niches
