New Update (some growth and some lesson learned) (screenshots of views/analytics shown below)
so its been 2 days and i uploaded yesterday about 2-4 vids on all mentioned social medias and i got roughly 2,100 views across all platforms the most coming from tiktok at 1k views and 2nd tiktok vid at 960 views. also im in 0 view jail in youtube shorts so no views on recent posts but i heard one reddit user say to just keep posting cause eventually he escaped the 0 view jail and got 150k-1m views per short.
also my older shorts will likely get a huge boost in views if my newer posts pick up tracking, because all social media growth is momentum based. I learned that from r/newtubers forum on reddit. For example, you made a banger video and it got 75k views. then you make a even better video and after posting it goes super viral and you get 2 million views. thats the dream endgoal.
because lets say for example god blesses me with a viral video and say i get 1,300,000 views on youtube shorts. out of that 1.3 million maybe 0.1% to at best if you got fucking banger call to actions and setup maybe 2% at the very most will actually click off youtube and go your website. so if we assume the most conservative estimate and say 0.3% on average will convert to website views that means you'll get 3,900 visits. if your a lucky bastard and figure out a high % call to action strategy and get 2% views from social media that actually convert to web views you get 26,000 views
sadly for website traffic i only got 1 viewer from turkey. but growth is growth, 2 days ago that i had 3 site views from usa.
My Thoughts
im still hopeful because its only been 3 days since i fully built the website and started posting videos and got 6k total views across all channels. so i need to put more hard work before any results may or may not show up, but the only way to find out is if i try. and trust me as i type this i just came off a 10 hour shift of work and im so tired but im still going to force myself to post as much as i can god willing. Thank god for weed tho, when i get off my day job i need a fucking blunt to unwind and get into hustle mode on my business.
for the weed smokers in blackhatworld, i find that i enjoy smoking only certian sativa strains because it helps my creativity, focus, and stamina on business work. i tried a lot of indica weed but dont get me wrong i feel nice and wavy on indica too but it makes me too tired and i fall asleep or commit unforgivable gluttony at the local McDonald's due to the munchies.
I Made A Few Pivots In The Biz
i realized that i work full time now (10 hour shifts) so i can only work on my business on off days or a few hours after work. but here's another bottleneck i deal with even if i work on the business...
i fucking suck ass at making videos.
I really look up to Mr Beast cause he came from years of shit results, barely any views and slow growth for so long.
my current business idea requires viral videos to make money via ad revenue
so i need eyeballs on my shit to get paid the big bucks basically.
i need to have mr beast quality on each video. everybody knows the guy for his success now but nobody remembers mrbeast6000 (his original channel name for years) he was so dedicated to the viral gods dude really spent 24hrs straight on camera counting or something like that? and got 21 million views. i think that was one of his first viral breakthroughs.
and that was only after years of using his own skills to make videos with shit results and always feeling discouraged cause the algorithm determined your video is not good enough to go viral. your first video can actually go viral, it just usually never does for most people, because they use their own skills & production quality to make the video and when you start to learn any skill... at first you suck cow shit at it.
when i make each video, i need to make the shit so high quality, the competition seems like cow shit compared to yours truly. if i try to make videos even with 7+ hours of sleep i have no video making skills so i can never go viral because all my videos have shit retention so the test audience fails the virality test and they die at best 1k views.
so the plan is to hire video editors/video makers to help make viral videos for me. an important rule of business is to never be a lone wolf. you cant do everything alone, so outsource what you can't do with high quality.
Also i will try to only make 1 video a day at top quality instead of spreading myself thin and make 3 mediocre videos which will keep dying at 1k views.
And lastly i plan to keep my videos in a scheduled batch on the best times to post a video on each respective social media platform
im interested to see what Pinterest will do, i have high hope for that platform cause it grows over times, (for example one pin had 30-35k pinteret views per month for months in a row i think 6-10 months straight and then i deleted all posts. even semi recently (4 months ago) i posted a little on Pinterest but with no consistency but at the time of getting those views it was so inconsistently posted with no consistent posting or effort cause back then i had 0 discipline due to bad mental health and life stuff and just work when i had bursts of motivation that would wear of within days at best but even worse.. i would give up on a biz idea after a few hours usually.
but mediocre pins in my niche get millions of impressions per month in some accounts and almost 1m in other accounts. i have to add user friendly call to action, that has a frictionless design + text so people can notice it but it doesnt disrupt the viewers experience. so i made slow progress over the 7 videos i made uploaded across platfroms.
dont get it twisted tho, im still excited to see the progress of youtube shorts, tiktok, instagram reels. i might try facebook reels because i have nothing to lose if i already created the short form video it takes mins to upload to each platform. i was hesitant at first because i wasnt sure if my facebook audience would jive with my shit.
but its worth a shot trying.
