Totally agree with you. The best humanizer is one's brain. Google detects pure AI content because it's too generic.

Passing an AI detector doesn’t say much about whether the article will rank. If you’re rewriting existing posts, just changing the wording isn’t enough. Add new info, examples, updated facts or your own take. A humanizer can make the text sound different, but that alone won’t make it better content.

honestly i wouldnt worry about detectors that much, google doesnt use them. humanizers usually make the text worse imo. better to rewrite with ai and then spend 10 min adding your own examples, that's what actually makes it not look like every other article
 
I’ve tried AI-assisted content before and honestly the humanizer itself wasn’t what made the difference adding real examples useful information and proper editing seemed much more important for rankings
 
For me, the goal is not simply to make AI content look human. The article should provide something useful that generic AI content does not. AI can handle research and drafts, while human input adds expertise, context, examples, and quality control.
 
I would not concern myself about if the content gets detected by the AI detector because the AI detector does not serve as a good indicator for quality content.

AI may come handy when doing rewriting and research, but the ranking of your content is more dependent on the search intent, originality, relevancy, accuracy, valuable information, and authority of the website.
