does posting time still matter?

Yes it matters, check in your insights and see when are people the most active. It will help with engagement a lot and eventually make your posts go viral.

I agree, timing probably matters less than consistency and content quality. Testing a few posting times is probably the best way to know what works.

I have noticed. That Friday is the shittiest day to post. Tuesday is good and Wednesday :D
Clock time is mostly 6.00 - 19.00 timeline.

i keep seeing different advice about the best time to post and i'm not sure it matters much anymore.
i think timing is helpful to some extent particularly if ur audience is awake at that point in time. however i do not feel like i would give too much thought about it. in fact a good post may perform well regarddless of the timing, hours after posting it.

Yes, it still matters, but content quality matters much more. Posting when your audience is active gives you a quick initial boost, but modern algorithms prioritize relevance over exact timing. Check your analytics to see when your followers are online, but focus mostly on making great content.

Of course it matters. But you have to understand the kind of content you want to create. Then pair that with the peak period for such content. For instance, video reels perform better in the moning and evening, depending on your niche and target audience.

I think it depends on your target audience really, but i have found that posting in the evening and outside of working hours tends to generate me more traffic.

Yes, it matters! Find out the peak time of the region you're targeting.

Reels get pushed for days, so the exact time matters way less than it used to. It still helps a bit for regular posts and stories, since the first hour of likes and comments decides if it gets shown further. Easy way to check: post the same kind of content at 2 or 3 different times for a couple of weeks, then compare the reach after 24 hours.

Posting time is a very important part I think but not as much as content quality and engagement. Posting when your audience is more active it might be a good time and might have more views.

Yes, I think posting time can still make a difference, especially on social platforms where early engagement matters. But it depends on the audience, platform, and niche. I’d test different time slots and compare impressions, engagement, and clicks over a few weeks instead of relying on generic best-time-to-post advice.

If you are a new account and want to grow fast, then yes, it matters. Post at a specific time when most people get online because Instagram promotes newly created accounts' content to others, so it will be beneficial.

I think it still matters a bit, but there’s no magic time for everyone. I’d test 2–3 different time slots for a couple of weeks and compare the results in your analytics.

It matters more when your account already has followers IMO. If you’re starting from zero, there isn’t really an audience waiting for you at a certain hour anyway.

However, there is no universally perfect time to post. I would do a trial run of 2-3 times during a few weeks, then analyze the data in analytics.

well, posting time is somewhat helpful but there is no need to pay too much attention to it, as even if the post performs badly initially it may perform well after several hours.

In any case, there is no universal slot. Try several times for 2-3 weeks and go with what your analytics show you.
