Who's using this keyword tracker? The search volumes don't seem very accurate and neither do the keyword positions. When I checked some keywords manually with a specific location set, they showed up on the first page, but SE Ranking shows "-" which means not ranking...

for this we have some chrome extensions that tell exact volume of keyword!

I usually cross check with Google Search Console and a manual search before deciding whether a keyword is actually ranking or not.

Sure, there are such discrepancies with rank trackers as well.Local settings, device, and even changes on SERP can affect them, so i’d go with GSC/Manual checks to be sure.

I do not trust all rank tracker fully. sometimes they can be wrong becuz of the location, changes in the SERPs, etc. also, I pay attention to the GSC nd manual search results.

Rank trackers pull from their own crawls, so they often miss things like local pack results, personalization, or a page that just moved. GSC's Performance report is the closest to real, since it's Google's own data, just a couple of days behind.
I use a tracker for the trend line and GSC to confirm the actual position when something looks off.

Yes, rank trackers tend to give false alarms sometimes. I would believe the GSC trends first, and then manually validate everything else.

I don’t use SE Ranking for tracking. I mostly rely on Ahrefs and Semrush trackers, then manually cross-check important kywrds with target region set.

every tracker shows a dash sometimes, its location and personalisation not the tool. i check against a second source before trusting any of them, GSC average position for the page over 7 days. if GSC says 6 and the tool says not ranking the tool is wrong. for volume none of them are accurate below a few hundred searches, relative size only

However, GSC would be more trustworthy than third-party tools. If GSC gives rank 6, yet another tool claims unranked, then such tool cannot be trusted. It is all about relative volume anyway.
