Don't worry about it till you actually have a successful channel, that has good content. Then you actually have something to adjust, manage, and improve. You don't need it now. You need to spend time on your content quality and output, is that what your doing?
It isn't going to tell you how and what makes a killer viral for your channel unfortunately. That still requires a brain, and some existing content ideas.

Your expertise in whatever software for creation (multipled by) your already partially popular idea (multipled by) a comphesvive spreadsheet of everyone who does the same in the content niche you're in along with their stats == Immediate understanding of your current position in the field, and a direction of success for you to template.

i use it mainly for seo work and seeing video analytics. no need to use its paid version if you are a beginner, its free version is enough for beginners. if you interested to work in youtube, then you can use it to do your videos seo. with it's you can see others channel videos overview, how its going, what's his tags.
The free version of vidIQ is not as helpful as the paid one. I used a 1 month free trial with a promo at the beginning of this year on a new channel, and it helped a lot by showing me direction for my content, SEO, and what my competitors are creating that goes viral.
