Google can take some time to recrawl pages, so I'd give it a few days.
This is normal after a page update. Google may still be showing the previously indexed title/snippet until it re crawls the URL. Google says recrawling can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, and requesting indexing isn’t an instant guarantee.I updated one of my pages a while ago, but Google still seems to show the old title and some old information in search.
The page itself is updated when I open it. How long should I normally wait before worrying about this?
Thanks, I have not tried Request Indexing yet. I will submit the URL in GSC and wait a few days to see if it updates.Have you tried using URL Inspection in GSC to request indexing or using a third-party tool to get the page recrawled?
For the exact timing, I don't really have a definite answer.
It could take a couple of days or even a week but requesting indexing through GSC may help Google pick up the changes sooner
I have kinda similar issue becuase recently I have updated some of my details on a few citation sites and Google is still showing the old information in search.
I have submitted those URLs for indexing as well, so I'm currently waiting for the updated details to start reflecting in search
Yeah, it can happen. I wait a bit first. Google can sometimes show a different title or snippet than what's on the page. If it still looks wrong later, I check Search Console.I updated one of my pages a while ago, but Google still seems to show the old title and some old information in search.
