I recently started a kids YouTube channel and I’m trying to increase subscribers, views, and watch time. I’d appreciate any tips from people who have experience with kids content.

Also, are there any free AI tools that can create cartoon-style kids videos from a simple prompt? Ideally something I can use to make multiple videos without spending much.

Would be great to hear what’s actually working for others.

it is most likely consistency and retention. I would be fascinated to know what sort of kids content and videos work for other people.

Tools like CapCut or Canva can be useful for simple cartoon style videos without a big budget

And focus more on making the videos simple, engaging, and consistent rather than trying to pump out as many as possible. Strong thumbnails, recurring characters, and easy to follow stories can help build repeat viewers.

Besides creating content, you need keywords that encourage people to subscribe. If your videos attract and retain viewers, growing your account won't be difficult.

you need to strictly adhere to a safe, engaging content process for children and combine free AI tools such as ChatGPT, Leonardo.ai, Adobe Express and CapCut to optimize video production costs.

one thing that helped me was making related videos around the same characters someone watches one and then has an obvious next video to click

Are there any good free software options to generate AI videos?
All the tools that I've found require payment i am going to make videos for YouTube and i hear that people are earning money with it does anyone know any free software that could help?

Try building recurring characters or themes so children recognize the channel and parents know what to expect. Keep the videos age appropriate and easy to follow, then use YouTube Analytics to see which videos get the most watch time and where viewers stop watching.

I know this is gonna sound dumb, but "mr beast edit" style might be worth looking up, he's nailed that audience

Keep children engaged with fun sounds and continuous movement. Children tend to watch a video over and over again if they like the melody.

One thing to keep in mind with kids content is that comments, notifications and end screens are restricted. So don’t judge growth only by subscriber count. Watch retention and returning viewers too.

Brother, I mostly suggest that creators with new channels at least wait for 3 months before seeing results. Consistent posting, improving content, and colorful videos attract kids' eyes. It takes time to grow.

And yes, there are tools like Claude and Grok but you need to use them carefully.

Consistency and short engaging videos that kids actually finish watching help more than anything.

Good thumbnails and titles that match what parents search for also make a difference over time.
