What is this new verification system? Why was my account identified as an app? I literally haven’t logged into my account for 8 days, and now this confirmation window pops up. I log in via my Google account, verify it through the verification system with google thing on the phone, but Reddit still tells me to try again.

I’m using the Anti‑Detect browser Anty and a proxy; previously, everything worked more stably, and Reddit didn’t have any issues with me.

Also, sorry for the Russian text. I am not using English Reddit...

Is there any way to fix this without appealing or only appealing, because, you know, Reddit doesn't really work well with appealing?

reddit detects app logins and flags them if the account sits dormant then suddenly gets proxy traffic. try warming the account gradually with natural activity first before heavy posting. also make sure your proxy geo matches where the account was created, sometimes that alone triggers extra verification checks

Account is warmed up already, I've been using it for months and I can post anything, I said that I haven’t logged into my account for 8 days. Proxy geo matches where acc was created for sure

Try switching to real iPhones for your sessions. I use them and have zero problems with verification loops or bot flags, so it might stop Reddit from treating you like a bot.

It's likely the anti-detect browser.

Either theyv'e understood the fingerprint of the browser and flagging it OR you need to tweak something

Since it hit right after 8 days of no activity, I'd look at what changed between sessions rather than the account. Did the proxy hand you a different IP (same geo still counts as different)? Did the browser profile update? Antidetect updates can shift the fingerprint enough to look like a new device. Try finishing the check from the same profile on the exact same IP as before. If it still loops, appeal is slow but usually the only way past that screen.
