Are There Any Tracking Guest Post Links After 90 Days

Do you folks track guest post links for indexing and retaining value after a couple of months or so? Some links seem to get lost in just a few days.
If your guest posts are deleted you have to contact your supplier or the webmaster.

Also, people have to do their due diligence when buying guest post links, some guy promoted a high traffic and popular site to me, but on further research, realized the pages and the structure would have those links never indexed. You will have links from a seemingly high quality site, but such links would never be indexed and as a result, would be useless.

vendors will either hide or allow the pages to go down. you should be checking your indexing status on a monthly basis through search console or a spreadsheet.

I’d track whether the page stays live and the link remains indexed in a simple monthly sheet. If it disappears, check with the publisher and review the site before buying more links there.

Yes, monthly. A sheet with url, date, indexed yes/no (site: search), link still there yes/no. Around a third of the guest posts I bought last year were either gone or deindexed by month 3. What made the difference was pointing a few cheap links at each placement so the page stays in the index, vendors never do that part for you. anway check before you buy more from the same seller

I run them through Ahrefs periodically to check if they're still live, some sites remove guest posts quietly after a while. Links dying within days usually means the site itself is low quality.

I also check if the link still points to the right page, because sometimes the article stays but the link gets changed.

I usually keep an eye on guest post links even after a couple of months. Sometimes a page gets deindexed, the link is removed, or the publisher updates the content. I’d check whether the page is still indexed, the link is live, and the placement is still relevant

A simple monthly check is enough for most sites with alerts for important placements so you catch removals sooner.

It is true shady link sellers like to slowly take away or make your links nofollow after two months. Put ur links into a link tracker tool like Linkbox, or do a screaming frog audit monthly.

Sure, monthly notifications should be enough for most websites, I think. Backlink alerts could be helpful, particularly if an anchor suddenly vanishes.

yeah, that occurs a lot more often than people think. I'd look at the target URL and anchor, because the article may still be up even though the link was changed.

if your post goes 404 or removed by admin so contact your vendor or middle man ASAP!

Yes, I track them from time to time. If a link gets removed or loses value, I try to replace it.

yes I usually go through them once a month in fact, just to make sure that the post is there nd the link is working fine.
At time some websites may even delete or change the links after sometime thus its better to be safe.

yes, link checks would definitely help out once in a while. if the guest posts vanish away quickly, I would also consider the stability of that website before putting my links on it.

Yes, I track every one. Simple sheet with the post URL, date live, anchor, target page and price, then I check at 30, 60 and 90 days: stil live, still ********, indexed, anchor unchaged. A backlink monitor tool can automate it, but even a manual check every month catches most problems.

Links disappearing within days usualy means the site is low quality, got hit, or the owner is cleaning out paid posts. Before buying I check the site's trafic trend and its history in the Wayback Machine, and I ask the seller for a replacment guarantee period upfront. Selers who won't offer one usually tell you something.

Yes, you can track guest post backlinks after 90 days. The key is using a monitoring tool that keeps checking whether the link is still live and unchanged.

You can only manually track the links using a separate tracking file.
