I've seen some new accounts get decent reach without having a huge audience. Curious if anyone else is seeing this lately.
Does X still reward accounts with smaller followings?

Yes. Its algorithm now prioritizes pure engagement over follower count. I have also noticed the same. You can easily go viral if your posts generate rapid replies, bookmarks, and read time.

Yeah, X actually pushes smaller accounts way more now if the engagement rate is high in the first 10-15 minutes. It’s all about reply depth and retention on your posts rather than follower count

According to my experience, when I started 2 months ago, nothing like this happened. I am not sure if X rewards new accounts with reach or not, but most probably it depends on the account activity.

maller accounts get some good reach too.a post can take off when the topic gets the right kind of engagement if the account doesnt have many followers.bigger audience helps but it doesnt like the only thing that matters

Yes I have noticed this too . A smaller account can still get decent reach if the post s get good engagement . Follower count help but it does not seems to be the only factor affecting visibility

when i started about two months ago i not run into anything like this.if x gives new accounts any extra reach but i think account activity probably has something to do with it
