Ive seen people disappear who were VERY active on reddit , in this last month or two.

I've seen moderators of big subs, give up and quit after unjust bans.

I'm just wondering how many people in general now have just quit reddit from all standpoints out. It seems it's becoming a 'stress' versus a pleasure to use the platform at all aspects.

I took a step back but I didn't quit.. Once I get done selling all my things so I can move, I'll be lightly working it for my own projects.

Are you still active on Reddit as we head towards Q4 in 2026?

I have lowered the focus on reddit after its like 1-2 months because of you're right injust bans without proper warning and reasons. Also the filters becoming stricter and stricter lately which is not worth the time according to the money I think its becoming more time consuming than before and I don't think its worth the efforts rn.

reddit still works, it just takes way more effort now to make a link look natural and actually stick.

I also feel as though reddit has been nerfed for marking from both Google and Open AI. It's like they scraped the platform and said see ya' later o_O

I've quit now. The way I was marketing has been completely nerfed, and all the 'jUsT bE NaTuRaLz n FoLlOw RuLeZ' aint gonna work for my site, because I need to do it at scale.

That scale got wiped out and aint coming back. It's forced me to make my entire site better, so I've been spending a lot of time on that. Once it's up to scratch, I'm gonna move over to social media and probably use paid ads there, as it makes more sense.

I’m a mod of an NSFW subreddit with about 65k members, and in the last month, I’ve had three mod accounts banned without any clear reason. I honestly don't know what Reddit want to do .

Haven’t quit yet, but I understand why some people have. Losing an established account after years of activity would probably be enough for a lot of people to call it.
