Is it better to use one proxy or a proxy pool for this type of task?

Hi everyone, I have a quick question. For this type of setup, is it better to use one proxy or several proxies? What are the main differences between the two options? I’d appreciate any advice from people who have experience with this.

if you want to use a single proxy or a proxy pool depends on the scale, sensitivity, and structure of your online task to be honest so be sure of what you want to use if for before choosing any option

using one proxy for multiple accounts can get you banned fast, so give each account its own separate proxy.

if you manage a lot of accounts, setting up an automated proxy rotation workflow will keep everything safely isolated.

What's the task? If it's for social media, use 1 proxy per 1 account.

Depends what the setup is for. If its just one account with normal activity, one stable proxy is usually enough and easier to manage. For several accounts I wouldnt put everything on the same IP, since one proxy problem can affect all of them. Several proxies cost more, but you can separate the sessions and replace only the bad IP instead of changing the whole setup

It depends on the task. If you run a single account that needs a consistent identity, stick to one IP, either a static one or a long sticky session. If you scrape or hit the same site a lot, a rotating pool spreads the requests. One IP looks like the same person every time. A pool looks like a new visitor on every request, good for scraping, bad for anything with a login. Mixing them up is where most bans come from, one account jumping between pool IPs looks worse than one slow IP. We're DataImpulse, we do rotating and sticky sessions, which can range from 1 to 120 minutes, not static IPs.

For simple tasks, one proxy may be enough. If the task needs several different IPs, a proxy pool can be more useful. It really depends on what the task requires.

Yes, there is no need for overcomplication if only one proxy is enough. However, when you require rotation or different locations, the use of a pool comes into consideration.

Depends on the task, but one way to know is to test the proxy for your actual use case. If the proxy often slows down or goes offline, that's a sign the proxy is overloaded and you might want to spread the activity to multiple proxies for better reliability.

It depends on the task. One proxy (ideally a sticky residential IP) works for a single account or a long session where a stable IP matters. A pool is better for scraping or any high-volume work, because rotation spreads the requests and you don't hit rate limits or bans on a single IP. I use rotating residential pools from FloppyData for the volume stuff, and I check every new setup on Iphey to catch leaks before starting.

you never mentioned what kind of work .

For a new Tumblr account, stick to one stable proxy rather than rotating a proxy pool; consistency generally looks more natural and avoids frequent IP changes.

This thread is completely useless, this bot doesn't work even to say what the setup or the task is, lmao
