There will be no notification. Uploading videos is private; it seems Facebook only shows the number of people who have shared and viewed the video.

If you download someone's video through Facebook, they will not receive any kind of notification. Because Facebook authorities have not yet made this feature available.

Nope, downloading a Facebook video doesnt send the person a notification or tell them you downloaded it.

No, I’m only asking because I’m curious about Facebook’s privacy policies, not because I intend to download or infringe on anyone else’s video copyright.
of course no notifications pop up for the creator of the content just bcuz someone is downloading the video. the person is aware of any likes, shares nd comments that the video has recceived but not that someone has saved or downloaded the video.

You can use some website by searching facebook video downloader and can download it and no they don't get notified if you download video, story or a post. I have personally downloaded and have got no issues at all.

If the other party uses content protection features such as Photo/Video Protection, will they receive any reports/alerts if their video is downloaded by a third-party tool?
