sure, when links continue to increase while traffic remains stagnant, I would look into intent and rankings first rather than trying to create more links. sometimes simply improving the page can have more impact than another roundd of link creation.

had the same issue on an old site, turned out half my backlinks pointed to pages that werent even indexed anymore. check GSC coverage first before building more links, fixing that did more for me than any new link did

More backlinks don’t automatically mean more traffic. i first check whether the links are actually quality, then look at indexing, keyword rankings, content quality, and Search Console impression

Backlinks alone won’t always bring traffic, especially if the site’s content and keyword targeting don’t match the current search demand. I’d check indexing, search intent, content quality and whether the new links are actually relevant to the pages you’re trying to grow.

start with keyword and topic research then create blog content around what target audience actually needs.staying consistent with useful content can bring good results over time
Links mean nothing when you lack topical authority and nobody is searching for what u are ranking for to be honest.
