Buying .com domains is expensive when you buy dozens or more.

Has anyone ranked .site domains or similas 1$ domains?

Any domain extens6can be ranked as long as it has what users are looking for

I have a similar question before because I bought mine for free last year, around December. At some point it actually ranks, but it seems traffic trust .com domain more than this site. or maybe just my content. You can do some experiments; since it's cheap, you can run one and try the long-tail keyword.

i wouldn’t blame the extension itself here. google says the TLD itself doesn’t give a ranking advantage, so a .site isn’t automatically weaker than a .com in search

the user side is different though. .com can simply look more familiar/trustworthy to people, which can matter for clicks and conversions
