Is Gemini showing an image to explain every query?

Weirdly it’s started showing image example Claude - so it showed Claude image, then some AI image for other queries and I asked it not to generate Images it doesn’t stop lol! Is this happening to you’ll too? Any fix for this

Looks like Gemini is deciding when images are useful instead of following the prompt every time. Have you tried turning image results off in settings or does it still ignore that?

if you’re on a personal Google account, the closest persistent option is Settings & help > Personal Intelligence > Instructions for Gemini. add something like “Reply in text only unless I explicitly ask for an image”

Google pro - will try the steps - I had asked it not to use images yet weirdly it’s using
