I have had posts with thousands of views that produced nothing, while a much smaller post generated actual conversations. I now care more about who engages than how big the impression number looks.

Exactly. I have seen this too. A post with fewer views can bring much better results when the right people engage with it. I prefer tracking comments, conversations and leads instead of only looking at the view count.

I usually check where the views are coming from, who is engaging and whether they turn into real conversations or leads. A smaller but relevant audience can be much more useful than a big view count.

It also depends on the type of content. Some types of content may not generate much discussion, but if they have good reach, they can still attract a lot of views.

i have actually found that my low view videos has generated better leads than the viral ones, so I keep an eye on my profiles and DM’s before the views.

Agreed, raw LinkedIn views don't always tell the full story. I'd also look at engagement, profile visits, clicks, and actual leads or conversions to understand whether the content is reaching the right audience.

Yep always track conversions and engagement; instead of likes, views or follows. And if you can find a niche where there are discussions going on, you've found a GOLDMINE!

Sometimes fewer views can be better when the post reaches the right people.

u got that right. views might look amazing but they really do not mean anything in regards to whether the post was successfful or not in terms of connecting with the approprriate audience.i would prefer getting 300 views from the appropriate crowd nd some real discussions over 10k views without any conversation.

yeah man faced this lot i get a lot of impressions but barely any conversion i feel conversion is pretty low on what imdoing

Exactly. Views can look impressive, but engagement and conversations are what really matter. A smaller post with the right audience can be much more valuable.

it also comes down to the content itself some posts may not get many comments but if they reach enough people they can still pull in plenty of views

Lots of views don’t always mean a post did well. You should rather have fewer views and real conversations than thousands of views with no engagement. What matters most is reaching the right people.

You are right, Actually LinkedIn counts a "view" the second someone scrolls past your post that is why views can seem misleading and other posts with less views generates conversions.

some content just not get many comments but that doesnt mean its doing bad if it reaches enough people it can still pull in a lot of views
