Yesterday was already rough day. We ran into a messy error that my team couldn’t figure out, so I had to jump in and handle it myself.

What I thought would be a quick fix ended up taking almost 3 hours. By the time I finally sorted it out, I was already exhausted.

Then I had a meeting with my project manager, and instead of getting a “good job,” I got scolded because the issue had delayed some other work.

At that point, I was honestly close to losing my cool. As my manager know it around take few hours to sort out thos error but he did

what's your thought?

First thing never show this work pressure , stress and angerness to your family once reach the home.

And better scold the related person infront of the rest room mirror or any place where no one around because we have to remove that from mind.

I would avoid reacting in the moment, take some time to cool down, and then calmly explain what happened and how much time was actually needed. Drink some water and site quite for some time, it will help to heal our self

i understand this to be honest but you can't blame the project manager becuase he might have gotten scolded by the superior too and they all believe, that is why you are being paid so just learn to appreciate yourself and always take it easy on yourself no one will see your effort untill you are not there anymore but they will always believe people are replacable and i dont blame them

You are a Boss and it's often very easy to demean your team especially when you get emotionally tensed. I hope you didn't make them feel less of themselves because that will kill their moral and workflow will begin to stifle. someone suggested you drink water to calm, I will add - learn to count when tense, and remember that the same person who caused that issue helped out sometime ago. Take it easy with them and yourself

Just do box breathing for a few mins to calm down
In the long run, you'll have to find something else

First calm down, take deep breathe and think of all of positions who leading like your manager has pissed by their highers. So he just expose those stuff to you. That's the fact here.. so maintain your cool

Well, the "good job" is always optional. So I wouldn't put too much weight on that one.

If your manager scolds you, that's another story tho...

Maybe time to think of applying for new jobs. Maybe you even get better pay and at least a better work environment.

Yeah, a lot of the old school Black Hat methods are much easier to detect now, so blindly using them can backfire.

I’d focus first on understanding links, content, indexing, spam signals and domain history, then learn from real case studies and controlled tests.

This is the life we live in this business, its often not fair or appreciated. But remember the good days when it goes really well, and be thankful that you have a good job instead of dangerous one. Good work keeping your cool, you will usually regret it later if you dont. Hope today will be better for you!

Honestly, after spending hours fixing a difficult issue, getting blamed instead of acknowledged can be really frustrating. I’d take a short break before responding then calmly explain what happened and the time it realistically required.

Whenever this happen again always do one thing.
Just start deep breathing on highscale for like 30 second and you'll find out the temper is gone which was about exploded. and this is what always help me and keeps it in control.

I think taking a short break before responding helps it is better to cool down than say something you regret later
Plus not act on anything until you not cool is always beneficial and life bestest decision.
