Hello guys,
I’m having trouble with Facebook ad account. Even though it was shared from "BM2k5 Agency," it was immediately disabled after I manually updated the details (account name, payment method, country, and currency) - all before I could even run a single campaign.
Has anyone else faced this issue? If you know how to resolve this, please share your advice or a solution.
Many thanks,

You should have asked for a guarantee from the seller and guide on how to use them because these type of account comes with various precautions to take to not get banned.

Cheers,

Changing the name, payment method, country, and currency all at once can easily trigger a review, especially on a shared agency account. I’d check Account Quality first and use the normal appeal/support route instead of making more changes. If the account was disabled immediately, it sounds more like an automated risk flag than a campaign issue.

Facebook is currently conducting scans and enforcing very strict policies across all types of accounts, so regardless of which type you use, that situation is bound to happen.

I have had a lot of scans on differents accounts the past few weeks, so I think it's a new wave as always in September

I’ve seen similar issues when several account details are changed at once, especially on shared BM setups. I’d avoid making more changes for now and check the exact restriction reason in Account Quality before deciding whether to appeal or replace the account.

Facebook sometimes scans many accounts and bans them for no reason. If the accounts are yours I suggest appealing; if not then ask your seller to appeal for you and see how it goes from there.

This is a Meta algorithm issue, not a bug. Meta launched a crackdown over a month ago that shows no signs of stopping; consequently, even reputable accounts—such as those from BM2500s—are easily getting banned.
