Create a YouTube channel ?

Hi everyone
If I want to create a YouTube channel focused on short films but also want to make other random videos, should I create two separate channels or combine them into one channel?

Creating 2 separate channels would be the best option because your subscribers from the short films channel would be hoping for the next parts or the next short film; they would be annoyed with random videos if you mix them up on the same channel.
 
I would leave one channel as long as the videos are randomly selected from the same target audience. Split them if there is a complete difference between the subjects
 
I’d start with one channel and test both types of content first If the random videos start attracting a completely different audience then you can always split them into a second channel later

begin by trying out one channel using various playlists to distinguish between the content. u will not be dividing ur attention between two channels right from the very beginning. in a couple of months u will be able to tell whether the two sets of videos attract the same auddience.
 
Keep one channel if the random videos appeal to the same audience; otherwise, use a separate channel so your short-film viewers know what to expect.

100%. Don't spread yourself thin before getting any ground. Stick with one channel to collect data, test out what the algorithm is pushing, and then fragment yourself into a secondary niche channel after proving the two ideas.
 
I think you should split them into two separate channels, because each audience segment wants to watch distinct content.
 
Start with a single channel if you are a beginner as managing two channels at once doubles your workload and can lead to quick burnout.
 
I think I will try starting with one channel to see how the audience reacts in case the random videos attract an entirely new set of audiences then starting another channel will be logical.
 
If the two topics you have chosen are completely different and share no common ground, I recommend splitting them into two separate channels.

There is no issue in combining both because the channel will still be categorzed as short form videos channel, so there is no meaning of scattering both.
 
try to create two different youtube channels, because you have two type of niche. one for short film and another for your random videos. as a result, your two channels will have their own unique identity. If you upload two different types of videos on the same channel, it becomes difficult to understand the channel’s niche.
 
If the random videos are related to the same audience, I’d keep them on one channel.

If they’re completely different topics, separate channels would probably make more sense so people know what to expect.
 
keep everything on one channel at first, coz random videos can help us experiment, and we can always split them later if the audiences dont mix.
 
my suggestion firstly research than go with channel.because when you find good niche than one channel is more than enough.
