Is Linkedin still good for building an audience from scratch? If you started today, what would you post?

I would post informational posts about pests and their reproductive systems as I want to make my target audience "scared" of them. After the scare part I would actually teach my audience on how to eradicate most of the pests and informing them on how we do it, so people can see that I am an authority on the sector. And being an authority in the pest control sector translates to more people reaching out to me for pest control.

I still use LinkedIn to promote my company. Everything starts from zero. In my opinion, LinkedIn is still a very promising platform that hasn’t been fully utilized yet.

Automation tools for making mass connections and sliding into DMs work so much better than organic posting TBH. Reach is decent as long as you dont get flagged.

Absolutely yes this is still possible, but just use metrics rather than case studies and fluffy stuff and you shall see impressions explode!

You can still grow a linkedin account from zero .I had start with a clear niche , post and useful content consistently and spend time engaging with people in that niche .Good comments and genuine networking can bring a lot of visibility as well

yes, did it last year for local seo work. one before and after map ranking screenshot a week, plain, no design. 0 to about 900 followers in 6 months and 3 clients from it, all local businesses. posting advice got nothing, posting results got calls

You can build your audience around a clear niche from the beginning. Focus on short posts that solve real problems and spend time commenting on other relevant posts too.

Yeah you can still grow from zero. I’d post things like quick tips case studies lessons from projects or simple industry breakdowns instead of making every post promotional.

everything start from zero, so you have to be that much patience to create your own audience linkedin. if i now create a new account, then i will focus on tec topics. because now we sees ai has create a revulsion on tec world. people are seeing interested on ai. how to use ai, how to train ai. interested to know about ai prompt engineering.

yeah this can still work just focus on real numbers and useful metrics instead of relying on case studies or extra fluff and you may see a big jump in impressions

Definitely possible. I’d avoid generic motivational posts and focus on practical lessons, small case studies, experiments, and opinions backed by actual results. Consistency matters, but having a clear niche makes it much easier to attract the right audience.

Dont waste ur time on making text posts. Just convert trending twitter threads into pdf carousels bcz the algorithm prioritises documents at the moment.

I would starts with views supported by figures or may be screenshots, even the small ones this gives people a reason to listen rather than simply join the conversation.

It is possible to build Linkedin from scratch if u can share some unconventional case studies or numbers directly via screenshots. the algorithm will automatically take care of the rest.
