We're developing a new illustrated music/entertainment project involving original animal characters, artwork and music.
We already have the characters.
We already have the artwork.
We already have the music.
What we're looking for is somebody who can MAKE THEM COME ALIVE.
Not simply animate a still image.
We want character movement that feels genuinely alive — personality, believable physical movement, expression, environmental interaction, camera movement and, importantly, strong consistency with the original artwork.
You might be:
• an AI-video obsessive
• an animator
• a computer-game geek
• a VFX/compositing person
• an animal-motion nerd
• or some strange mixture of all of the above
We don't particularly care what you call yourself.
TOOLS / WORKFLOW
We are completely open-minded.
Kling, Veo, Flow, Runway, Hailuo, Seedance, Chinese AI video platforms, combinations of several systems, traditional editing/compositing, upscaling, interpolation — or something we haven't heard of.
We are interested in THE FINISHED RESULT, not which button produced it.
FIRST JOB:
A PAID CREATIVE TEST using ONE supplied original character/image.
We want you to take that artwork and show us just how alive you can make it while retaining the identity and character of the original.
If the result makes us say:
"How the hell did you do that?"
...you're probably the person we're looking for.
There is a considerably larger project potentially behind the test.
Please reply with examples of your BEST work, particularly:
— image-to-video
— animated animals/creatures
— consistent characters
— illustrated characters brought into convincing motion
— cinematic or highly realistic movement from original artwork
Please DON'T send 30 generic AI clips.
Show us the 2–5 pieces that demonstrate what you can really do.
Original project details and test artwork will be supplied privately to suitable applicants.
No right way.
No wrong way.
We're looking for someone who knows how to make pictures live.
