New sites indexing problem

Started 3 micro niche websites 45days ago.. 1.even though sitemap showing posts sitemap but search console only showing categories and pages sitemaps..
2.for all the 3 websites only home page is indexed..for posts it's showing discoverd currently not indexed
3.as per the console getting around 50 impressions daily and some low competition keywords are ranking on the first page..

How do I fix this..

This is typical for new micro-niche sites.
45 days is early; Google often indexes homepage first and delays post indexing in “Discovered – currently not indexed” status.
Impressions and some rankings show Google is testing site quality.
Check that post sitemap is submitted and accessible (no robots.txt block, 200 status).
Strong internal linking to posts (from homepage, categories, related posts) helps indexing.
Ensure posts have substantial, unique content (800+ words) with proper HTML structure.
A few quality backlinks can improve crawl budget and speed up indexing.
Avoid excessive manual indexing requests; they can hinder indexing.
You’re in the testing phase — focus on content quality, internal linking, and backlinks. Indexing will follow.

Sitemap generated by rankmath When i check it's ,it's showing 3 sitemaps but Google is not showing posts sitemap in console..
Should I delete and resubmit the sitemaps seperately?

You can submit the post sitemap link

Did this for 1 of the website..it's 10days, still none of the posts indexed
 
This is pretty normal for new sites. Google is testing your site first.
Focus on improving content quality, add internal links from the homepage/category pages to posts, and avoid publishing too fast. Once Google sees consistent value and crawl paths, the “discovered, not indexed” posts usually get indexed on their own.
 
Discoverd currently not indexed - It means google has noticed these pages but not crawled yet. Google may crawl them later.

To fix issue; Improve your internal linking. Use breadcrumb, link from homepage, other post pages. Google did not crawl them because it thought these pages are not important, this happens often with new websites. So linking will raise the importance of these pages for faster crawl.

Note: Google only index a webpage after it crawls it and find it worthy of indexing.

Here is the flow:-

Google Discovers a Page ---> Google Crawls the Page ----> Google Index the page
 
You need to continue publishing content and developing the site for Google to index the posts. Google usually keeps new sites in sandbox to prevent spam. The sandbox may extend as long as 6 months for some TLDs like xyz, icu, top, onl etc. So, ignore the indexing issues and focus on new content.
 
I’m having a very similar issue with a new video website.

Google has discovered hundreds of my video URLs through the sitemap, but most remain “Discovered – currently not indexed” with Last crawl: N/A.

I checked the technical side:

  • Sitemap is submitted and Googlebot fetches it regularly.
  • Live URL Test says the pages are available to Google.
  • Video is detected by Google.
  • Video pages return HTTP 200.
  • Canonical URLs are correct.
  • Server response is fast (around 53ms TTFB in my test).
  • I checked my logs and found no 403, 429 or 5xx responses to Googlebot.
  • Videos are internally linked from the homepage/latest pages.
However, my server logs show Googlebot crawling the sitemaps frequently while crawling very few individual video URLs.

For those of you who experienced this with a new site, what actually made Google start crawling the individual pages?

Should I slow down publishing and focus on improving 20–50 existing video pages with stronger internal links and more unique content first?

Also, is 800+ words really necessary for each page, or can a video page with unique title, description, metadata and good internal linking get indexed without such a long article?

Try to link the new posts from older indexed pages. This can give Google another path to discover and crawl those URLs.
 
You can try adding all pages through indexing services to push them into Google faster. Also manually request indexing for key posts in search console

well, putting links to your latest posts on some related older pages is one of the easiest methods of making your posts known. i also favor using context-based links over any forced links,

Manual indexing can be okay for important URLs, but I don’t think you need to submit each individual page to indexing. Internal linking and a good sitemap should be enough.
 
45 days is still pretty early for new sites, don’t panic yet.

Check internal links, make sure the posts are in the sitemap and set to index, and avoid publishing too many similar/low value pages. If some keywords are already getting impressions, that’s a good sign that Google is discovering the sites.

I won’t be publishing as much anymore, but will need to extend existing work by 20-50 page before getting back on track, nd it is all about unique content nd links.

firstly, I would try to refrain from producing new content but instead focu on enhancing the quality of at least 20-50 pages as originality nd internal link are more important than just 800 words.

In light of this, I will not continue writing any further becuz I want to make my current work, which ranges from 20 to 50 page flawless.

sure, just don not publish yet nd edit those 20 to 50 pages. long is not always better uniqueness and internal linking is what counts.
